Custom 3D Wallpaper ("the app") is a live wallpaper app developed by Ascent Software Co. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app.
We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data ourselves. The app displays ads through Google AdMob, which processes some device and usage data on Google's servers to serve and measure those ads, as described below. The app also lets you optionally browse and download a curated library of 3D models and sky/lighting presets from our hosting provider — these downloads are anonymous file requests, not tied to any account or personal identifier. Everything else the app does — your imported images, 3D models, and wallpaper settings — stays entirely on your device.
The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process data such as your advertising ID, IP address, device information, and app interactions. This data is handled by Google, not by us — see Google's Partner Sites policy and Privacy Policy for details on how it's used.
You can limit ad personalization on Android by going to Settings > Privacy > Ads and resetting or opting out of your advertising ID.
The Discover screen lets you optionally browse and download ready-made 3D models and sky/lighting presets that we host. When you open Discover or download one of these items, your device makes an anonymous request to our hosting provider (Google Firebase Storage) to fetch a list of available items and the file you chose. These requests are plain file downloads — no account, name, email, or other personal identifier is attached. As with any internet request, our hosting provider's infrastructure may log standard connection data (such as IP address and timestamp) for operating the service; we do not access or use this beyond what's needed to serve the files. Downloaded files are then stored locally on your device like anything else you import.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) — used only so you can pick images and 3D model files from your device to use as wallpaper content. Files you select are read and, where needed, copied into the app's private storage on your device so your wallpaper keeps working. These files are never uploaded anywhere.INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — used to request and display ads through Google AdMob, and to fetch the optional curated asset library described above.Your imported images, 3D models, wallpaper presets, app settings, and anything downloaded from the curated library are stored locally on your device only (using local app storage and an on-device database). Uninstalling the app removes this data. We have no access to it, and it never leaves your device.
The app integrates Google AdMob (advertising) and uses Google Firebase Storage to host the optional curated asset library described above, as detailed in the sections above. We do not integrate analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and we do not sell or share any data ourselves.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone. If you believe a child has provided data through the app's ads, contact us using the details below.
